I well remember my tables and desks bouncing up and down in horror, like glasses drenched with tears of condensate pressing their bare bottoms against delicate surfaces with ruthless selflessness. Not today, moisture. From now on, all my surfaces and tables will feel the protective embrace of high quality 1/4" European felt - or at least until I run out of coasters. At 9 coasters a pack I don't expect a problem though. My house isn't big and it's not scary dry. The coasters soak up water with feverish desperation, sparing not a drop beyond their impressive but manageable 4" diameter. Intense dark gray felt repels even the most impatient, wet and sticky glass bottoms. The packaging *kiss the chef* too.
