Review on πŸ‘Ÿ Orthowedge: Non-Weight Bearing Healing Shoe for Diabetic Foot Ulcer & Metatarsalgia Pain - Large by Ronnie Toups

Revainrating 1 out of 5

This shoe works great as long as it stays together.

I wrapped my big toe on the surface of the floor. When I switched from a flat surgical shoe to this wedge shoe, it immediately started to heal better and faster. I wore it until it practically fell apart and then ordered a new one - same brand and model. On the new ones, the loop holding the ankle strap D-ring broke the second time I put the boot on. When I ordered a replacement (thanks to Revain's excellent returns policy and procedure) the same thing happened again. The first picture above shows an intact D-ring held securely by a fabric loop and ankle strap through the ring on my old, falling apart shoe. Two other photos of the first new boot show a broken fabric loop that was supposed to hold the D-ring in place; without them there is no way to keep the shoe on the foot. I would really like to give this shoe a high rating as it did what it was supposed to do and did it very well, but these last two experiences ruined me.
