I love this baby blanket! I bought my daughter a pink elephant when she was only a few months old. I didn't use it too much at the time, but since she was about 9 months old she's been using it a lot more. Now she is old enough to sit on it and play with her toys. She also loves to lie on it with her favorite plush sheep and drink and drink when she falls asleep. I never let her sleep on it. When she sleeps enough, I put her in the crib because I feel more comfortable if she sleeps there for safety reasons. I also don't mind her laying on the floor with her toys because it's so cute! I loved this rug so much I have since bought two more, a cream bunny and a pink owl for the baby shower. They were happy about expectant mothers as well as about other shower guests! You are so soft! I've had the elephant rug for a few months now and haven't noticed any quality defects. Seems very well done. However, I did notice that there was a small hole in the stitching of the bunny I gave away. It was there when I got it. It was an easy fix since it was right at the seam.
