Review on πŸŒ™ Tempur-Pedic Symphony Pillow: Indulgent Softness for Unparalleled Comfort by Mary Nelson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not like before.

I bought this pillow to replace my original symphony pillow. I was concerned when it arrived and weighed next to nothing. My original pillow was a 5 pound brick. I have traveled everywhere with her, I really liked it. My brick is 8 years old and I noticed it was getting thinner so I bought this new one. The first thing I noticed the first night I slept on it was that when I laid my head on it, it flattened out almost enough to make it feel like there was no support for my neck. I now have a herniated disc so a good neck brace is vital to me. It literally means the difference between a good night's sleep and waking up with no feeling in my right hand. So first night. Uncomfortable. He continued to adjust the pillow to find a good center. Woke up with a stiff neck. Night 2 maybe a little better but still woke up with a stiff neck. Night 3 said forget it and went back to my trusty brick. I feel the density of the original 8 year old pillow gave me much better neck support. it's not hard enough for me If I didn't have disc issues I suspect this pad would be fine. hope that helps
