Review on Hunter Fan Company 50358 Timpani by Julie Lee

How it looks; a bit tricky to install but worth it

I like the look of this fan because it looks more modern. At first I was worried it wouldn't put out enough light, but it definitely is. I was able to install this myself, I'm 51 years old with no help but disappointed. There were no problems installing the base and connecting cables. I had a little trouble connecting the blades - if I had a magnetic screwdriver it would help because I kept dropping the screws to use one hand to hold the blade in place and then get the screw out. and a screwdriver on the other side. The painful moment was installing the light kit! It was a beast in setup and made me yell a lot of expletives! Having to wear reading glasses to see it up close didn't help anyone. The space was so tight it was almost impossible to plug everything in, also one of the holes was misaligned (poor quality control) which obviously didn't help. I think it's quiet and I really like the way it looks so my disappointment was worth it!
