Review on π Norelco HQ8 Replacement Shaver Heads | Suitable for Model 8892XL by Christina Magnus
HQ8 discontinued; SH50/52 is his replacement
Tried it as a replacement for my Spectra 8894XL. It's a painful shave with a combination of cutting and *pulling*. I called Philips on the number on the box and they said the HQ8 shaving heads had been discontinued about a year ago. The replacement product is SH50/52. Unfortunately, after reading the SH50/52 reviews on their website, it appears that they are nowhere near as effective and painless as the original HQ8s. Maybe it's time to buy a new razor.
