Small but Bright: Wall Lights

When I first opened the package and saw how tiny these lights were, did I seriously think? How much light will this tiny thing emit? But I decided to give it a try, charged it with the USB cable that came with it, and "installed" it in my dark closet. The installation consists of removing the protective film from the double-sided sticker on the bracket and sticking it in the right place. The mount is magnetic and holds the light in place surprisingly well. Removing the charging light is as easy as sliding down and detaching the mount. Then for the real test, how bright will this tiny light really be? Surprisingly bright. I used both lights in a small closet, one just behind the door and one under the top shelf at the back of the closet. These tiny lights provided more than enough light to clearly see what was in the closet. The motion sensor is quite sensitive, you don't have to stand and wave your hand in front of it for it to work. Opening the closet door is enough to turn on the first, and taking two steps inside the closet is enough to turn on the second. The light only stays on for 20 seconds unless it detects further movement. You can also press the button and set it to "always on" and it will stay on until you turn it off. Charging these lamps doesn't take long, maybe an hour. It would be nice if they included 2 USB cables instead of just one so you can charge both at the same time.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks
