You get what you pay for, and here you're paying for a leather women's wallet, not faux plastic. It can be carried as a purse in a large purse or as a clutch with a detachable wrist strap. Large wallet with multiple compartments for your credit cards and open compartments for bills, receipts and other papers. Outside there is a pocket on a flash for a trifle. It is made of soft vegetable tanned leather, slightly delicate, with a very smooth and shiny finish. Nail marks, scratches and scuffs are probably pretty common, so if you want your leather goods to remain pristine, this wallet may not be for you. Although the wallet is quite large and I use it most of the time, there are a few things I found a bit problematic - first, it's not big enough to carry my iPhone around with me. If I wanted to use it as a clutch I couldn't use it to carry my phone as it's not big enough for the Xs Max. This means it's not big enough for some of the most popular Android-style phones. That means I couldn't really use the wrist strap and use it as a clutch/bracelet. Another issue I have is the external zip pocket. One end of the zipper folds away from the body of the wallet while the other end fits snugly against the wallet and doesn't stretch at all. This worries me that the bag might actually tear after more and more use over time. Overall this is a good wallet and if you are on a budget but want a genuine leather wallet I would recommend giving it a try. Because it's inexpensive, you can save money for something more durable and luxurious by using a genuine leather wallet.
