Great for everyday use but not ideal for travel

This backpack is really good for everyday office use but not ideal for travel. I've received compliments from several people and I love the look of the bag. This is a great size for someone like me (short). My last backpack was half my size. He was also wearing more than I guessed from the photos. I had a Surface tablet, work files, cables, various office supplies, and still had room for a small wallet, gloves, and a scarf. That being said, there was no way to attach it to my suitcase (which I didn't think of until I ordered it). It would be nice if it had a valve that could be slipped onto the handle of a suitcase. The small zipped pocket on the front was also a bit tight when I had a few things (chewing gum, tissues, etc.). I could use the side pocket for my phone but call me crazy I prefer to keep my phone in a zip pocket. In other words, I wish there was another outside zippered pocket that I could use for my phone, driver's license, and credit card for quick access at the airport. Doesn't break the deal, but nice to have. Not being able to attach it to the suitcase was a bigger problem. The straps also slipped a few times so I ended up tying them in a knot to keep them where I wanted them on my back. I have a charger, but I didn't find this feature very useful. I couldn't get a cable to fit securely enough to stay in place. If you have other items in your bag, they are not easily accessible. I just pulled out my charger and used it the old fashioned way. Overall a good bag and I will definitely use it for my daily commute to and from the office. I will continue to look for a more functional holdall.
