So if you have thick nails like me and have tried using a standard toenail clipper, you might end up with a less than desirable experience. Nothing is more annoying than when you use nail scissors: either A, they don't cut at all, or B, they cut and split the nail in half, or C, cut the nail and make the nail fly. Room. I figured there must be a better way. I first got into electric nail clippers. I figured that the power of electricity would probably solve my problems. But every electric nail clipper I've looked for has average ratings of 3 stars or less. In no case do I risk something like that with such reviews. And then I discovered this, with such glowing 5 star reviews from everyone I knew I had to give it a try. I followed the instructions, I gave my feet a long bath, cleaned them, rinsed them and dried them completely. Then I started trimming my nails with these nail scissors and I was really blown away! I probably have some of the thickest toenails of all and my nails were long too. These clippers cut my nails almost like clockwork, they obviously had no trouble with their haircut. I didn't break the nails in half, I didn't throw the nails 10 feet across the room, I just went up and cut them off. The wire cutters also have a spring mechanism that allows the handle to be reset, making it easier to work with. The set also includes a nail cleaner and a nail file. Professional quality picture, all metal, but I have not used it. The nail file is quite aggressive compared to the standard nail file. The nail file effortlessly smoothed the edges of my nails to the highest level. I highly recommend this set, 5 out of 5 stars!
