Very impressed with this camera. At first I was shocked that my new rechargeable batteries didn't even include this thing. Contacted support immediately. They reacted very quickly. Simply put, alkaline or lithium batteries work best. I used an Energizer alkaline battery and it turned on right away. I think most high-end cameras go for it because of the high resolution and demand. I've used the camera for two weeks and the batteries are still strong. Even with lots of videos and photos. I even ordered a camera. The menu interface is simple. Has a tripod mount. I mainly use them for ghost hunting. They make an amazing static camera with a very fast shutter release. Images and videos are crystal clear with good sound. What I like best is that you can set the time period for which you want the cameras to work. For example 2100-0600. I will soon be ordering my third camera. Customer service is excellent. Very happy.
