Super bright. I wanted these for the VW Passat but they didn't fit due to the size of the lamp. This is completely normal when buying super bright LEDs in the aftermarket. I would prefer them to be light colored; not dim like original bulbs. So I put her in a converted van that had 921 bulbs (which melted the lights) for the interior lighting. These LUYED 1550 lumens are as bright as they say. They don't produce much heat. It's like daylight in a lightbulb. These LUYED 1550 lumens use far less power. I would buy them again. Note. Any aftermarket LED should be checked for fit with the socket and bracket or faceplate where it is to be placed. If you have the space, install them in place of your old incandescent or halogen bulbs. More light. Less power. Less heat.
