Review on Camera Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX50 by Micha Banasiewicz ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not everything is so bad, but there are disadvantages.

I took it for shooting outdoor activities and amateur sports events - I bought it for a large optical zoom in combination with "long" and fast burst shooting and compactness. Shooting through the preset "sport" scene with a 20x zoom does not work at all - it's dark, it lacks lighting even on the street. If you increase the shutter speed - sharpness disappears on fast moving objects. Photos in "normal" conditions are no different from "soap dishes" costing 3 times cheaper. The total functionality and capabilities of the camera, its obviously overpriced price (at least 2 times) does not determine the portrait of the target audience - it is not clear to whom and for what purposes it may be useful at all. If you need a zoom, it’s better to take, for example, fuji - they are much cheaper, but they don’t lose in quality.

Pros
  • Build quality, compact
Cons
  • shooting dynamic scenes - solid SOAP!
