Poor quality control - the case doesn't fit

I really want the case to please as it's not bulky, it seems to offer adequate protection but unfortunately I can't close the inner lid properly (see photo). It just won't stay in place. This is not my first case installation. I even watched the video and yes I ordered the right case for my Galaxy S20 FE.
