Nothing can hold

The cable broke in two where the rubber is said to keep it from breaking. Two of the three cables cannot be used because they break in two. That was only 2 1/2 months later. The place where they are connected is on the bedside table where nobody touches it for 9 hours. The third cable is used all the time. I do not understand.
