Although it looks good when illuminated, it is designed in such a way that it cannot be plugged in and switched on at the same time. The on/off switch is the same outlet that the power cord plugs into, and the light turns off as soon as you plug in the cord. Therefore, this cannot be used for continuous lighting, since the battery must always be discharged when the lighting is on. So it's crap unless you plan to only use it for an hour or two at a time. Badly designed. I would recommend something else.
