I switched from antiperspirant to natural deodorant and it was a difficult step. Either the deodorants are not strong enough (I sweat a lot) or they work, but are very irritating to the skin. After burning your armpits with various other deodorants (baking soda is terrible for your skin, and many natural deodorants use baking soda in large amounts). I found this formula to be both effective and gentle. I have yet to top up my deodorant with Bert's bee powder, but to be honest, the antiperspirant makes me sweat because, as I mentioned, I sweat profusely.
