Review on mDesign Cotton Waffle Weave Fabric Shower Curtain - Hotel Quality, Farmhouse Style - 72x72 Inch Cream/Beige - Machine Washable for Bathroom Showers and Bathtubs by Tom Ball

It's a nice thick waffle material but too heavy.

The color is perfect for what we tried. The texture and feel of the waffle material - as you can feel in the second picture - is great. I liked the look of this item when we took it out of the box, but once we hung it up we found that it was a lot heavier than we expected. If you look at the first photo you can see how much the curtain sags between the hangers exposing the lining behind and not looking good. It looks wet and heavy and sagging and hangs there even when completely dry. If you look at the third photo, taken from the shower, you'll see that this shower curtain doesn't let much light through either. I'm not saying I want clear glass, but I'd like a little more light so I can see what I'm doing there. The light behind the curtain is quite bright and barely penetrates the footage in this shot. The only time you get a decent amount of light in your shower is when you're using it during the day with the curtains drawn and natural light pouring into the room. I haven't washed it yet, but I'm afraid to. We received the 74x74 100% cotton model of this item and just assumed it was pre-washed or pre-shrunk or something. I have read countless reviews from other buyers that this item shrinks like crazy when gently washed in cold water. I will revise and edit the review accordingly if it is trimmed as others have reported.
