Another paper shredder we had for over 15 years was better but sadly died recently. After an intensive Google search for the most recommended paper shredders of 2021, we came across this one. For the price I expected more. The trash can is small and they didn't build it to 1) compact the shreds or 2) manage the lining of the trash bag. The bag does not fold exactly anywhere and therefore gets stuck when trying to close the bin. The bin doesn't close properly either, usually it takes 2 or 3 tries to close properly. Due to the lack of sealing, it has to be hand-packed (which means more struggles to open and close) and the basket size is relatively small for the overall large size of the entire machine. If it didn't hurt to return, we would return.
