price creeping. Is it worth?

For the price these headphones are a great option. However, I first started using them when they were around $13 each. When I last ordered it, the price went up to about $18. They are currently on sale for $23.50. I've ordered over 100's over time and on the last two orders (8-12 at a time) I'm surprised the price has doubled. We use them in a public music theater application, which is very inexpensive. Keep in mind that durability isn't as high as you'd probably want. For $13 they really looked like razor blades and I might have overlooked the fact that I could get rid of them after three gigs or so (they break more often than the Countrymans). But now that the price is going up, it's harder to see them that way. Overall durability aside, and again for the price, I'm happy with the sound quality. I don't value the length of mics just because I have many young actors whose excessive length makes it difficult to discreetly place these mics on their smaller heads. So is it worth it? In most cases definitely. However, if the price goes past $30 due to durability and sacrifice compared to the Countryman, I may have to reconsider my decision.
