Nothing wrong with a tunic top but I'm kind of over them! I wanted something a little shorter in length and this shirt is just that. It comes over the top of my hips and about halfway down (for reference I am 5'2" about 117 pounds). It's a flattering length for me.The material is soft and while not expensive-feeling, I have tops that are priced more that don't feel as soft and comfy as this one does.I like the white detailing on the collar as it adds some interest to the look of this top.The small fits how I expected it to. It's not too tight on me but fitted in a flattering way. The sleeves are long enough but not ridiculously long.I laundered mine (washed and dried) on delicate and it did fine though it doesn't look as crisp as it did out of the packaging. From now on, I will wash it on delicate and hang it to dry as I do a lot of my tops.I'm glad I ordered it; a little different look for me. If you consider the price of under $25, and consider often you'll have what you pay for, you'll be happier with this top--don't expect super quality but expect a nice top to wear casually (out to lunch or breakfast) or if you work in an office environment, etc.
