Almost all negative reviews mention that Presta does not work without removable cores. When you buy it, it is CLEARLY written that it only works if you can remove the core! If you don't know whether your Presta valve has the above detachable core or not, ask someone before you buy it or just don't buy it. Don't write off stars for something the product wasn't designed for! I bought these primarily to help with the fitting of a tubeless tire. By removing the core of the Presta valve, airflow is virtually unrestricted. The problem is (at least with my pump) that when removing the core there is no way to securely attach the pump. Convert Air solves this problem. The few tubeless rigs I've used it on have all sat with no issues. Would it work without Convert Air? May be. but the Convert Air makes that a foregone conclusion. The only problem is the cost. It's slightly more expensive than valve cores, which you can buy dozens of for less than the price of two. But that's the price of innovation and making life easier. I left a Convert Air in my first install but for the rest I just went back to the Presta cores how much I hated them. This way, if they stick together because of the sealing, it only costs pennies to replace them for a few bucks. I had a problem with my order but the company resolved it in a reasonable time.
