I bought this for my 2 year old daughter and not only does she love it but my boys don't have to share it with her now. The case is very soft, but still protects the tablet if you drop it. This was done with preloaded games that were very appropriate for their age. Even though it's Wi-Fi only, I can still use it when I'm not at home. With the hotspot feature that we have, we can connect to our phones. For some reason her first laptop wouldn't let us do that. Not to mention it didn't last more than a month before we had to return it because it stopped working. Another thing I like is the handle or stand on the back. She can either carry it with her or stand on it whenever she wants. I should mention that she can do it on her own with a little help. I was able to use this while she was napping on my exercise bike. My tablet was dead and I was able to use it to log into the website I use for my exercise bike. I didn't remove the case, but I was able to put it on my bike's tablet holder. Not only did it fit, but it also allowed me to exercise with this tablet. The battery life is quite long, but it also depends on the frequency of use. We typically get around 2-3 days of use before needing to charge it overnight. Great kids tablet with child lock.
