I'm 5ft 7in, 180 and wear a 12-14 in jeans - between L and XL. I ordered large and size XL to evaluate the size and return one or the other. The XL was nice and roomy without looking too big. The big one fits too, just a little slimmer and less thick! So I decided to keep both and wear the big one when I go out with a nice t-shirt - they will look good in everyday life. The XL is great for hiking, walking on the beach or working in the garden when I need extra space. I haven't washed them yet, but they should wash well. The material is very light yet durable enough to look good and hopefully be cool enough to wear on hot summer days. Happy with the purchases and glad I got both sizes for different purposes. I will probably order more!
