I bought this braided wallet chain to use on my cell phone. This wallet chain uses a strong clasp on each end. The latches will NOT open until you squeeze the handles. There are some leather strips on one end and it's done on purpose. The length may be too long, but it can be trimmed by tying a knot or two on the string. There are different colors to choose from depending on your personal preference. I've had it for a month and I don't see any signs of wear. Love it. I used to buy a ring for the back of my phone and use a 2 piece case with a hard shell and a rubber cover. I attached the ring to some hard plastic and cut out some of the rubberized material to allow the ring to go through. I attached the grilled end to myself and the other end to the metal ring on the phone.
