The 24" tie is perfect if you are at least 6ft 4" tall and need something to wear to work with being able to dress professionally without the chance of someone smothering you with their own "guard" or any other profession in the hospitality industry.A 24" tie can extend to my belt buckle, not my chest and my belly button, as I would expect from any other tie clip.Coming back to the clasp, not the one you tie yourself, it took me a few minutes to get used to clipping my tie through the top buttonhole of my shirt; Otherwise, you may not notice a difference in look or feel until after an event or day that you now have a tie pin instead of a regular tie that requires practice.It is still very embarrassed that I have to wear a clip at work instead of another regular tie; but I like it (both looks and feels like a regular tie) and I also feel more secure when someone tries to strangle me.
