I know LED bulbs are cheap and energy efficient, but why would I need an extension cord to light up a room? If I wanted a bright green light, I would buy a bright green light. Don't even consider using this in the bedroom, and it'll likely be annoying anywhere you want to watch movies in low light. So bright. I use this in my home office to deal with light but I don't see why anyone would think such a bright light is a good idea. Functionally everything seems to work. Everything I've connected works, but I can't measure the protection. Due to my use the light is not an issue otherwise I would return it just for the very poor design. The photo I've attached is under the table in the middle of the day to give you an idea.
