Inexpensive LED light at professional level. Good product!

Bought these lights for interviews and video briefings in 3 point lighting configuration. Let me get straight to the point; This is a great product regardless of the price and most importantly, you get great bang for your buck! The 3 lights with stands are neatly packed in a made to measure bag that everything fits very well. In addition to lamps and stands, the bag also contains diffusers, power supplies and metal doors, which must be attached to the metal frames with screws before first use. This process is quite time consuming as it requires you to fiddle with tiny screws, but luckily you only have to do it the first time. I'm sure there is a better and easier way to attach barn doors to the outer frame of the skylights. That can definitely be improved. However, these barn doors are very useful and work well. I really like the intensity and color temperature scales and the LCDs on the back of the LED panels when you want consistent light quality across multiple takes and multiple days of shooting. These LED panels are very bright and of course they are absolutely cool, so you will never sweat under them. I was able to take great photos and videos of people with their panels set at 70% power, 10 feet from the subject. The white balance was accurate and I didn't have to correct anything in post. It is very important. These panels can be powered by either Sony batteries or an AC adapter and are great for studio or field use. Stands come in handy and save you the trouble of finding the right ones. The construction of the telescopic tube is solid and strong, but the strut legs could have been a little firmer. These are not extruded tubes, instead the manufacturer has opted for strips of metal that bend and aren't very comfortable when you try to bend them. Luckily, the panels aren't heavy, so the rigidity of the extendable legs isn't an issue, although I'd recommend a sandbag if you plan to extend the stand to its maximum height. Better to be safe than sorry later. Overall I am very happy with this purchase and will definitely look at other products from this company. Pros: powerful backlight, precise white balance, dials and LCD display on the back, barndoors, stand, individual case, suitable for everyone. Great set at a great price. Cons: Weak splay legs, light stands, barn doors take time to set up and take down.
