It seemed like a good idea at the time. The reality of the product is this: A) the steel construction increases the overall weight of the hangers for your pants, B) it obviously doesn't reduce the overall thickness of all the pants you hang, which probably results in less space savings as you might think, C ) To get a pair of pants off the hanger you have to take down the whole hangar with all the pants on it and then tilt the whole thing so you can access the one pair you want and try while keeping it all in that one awkward angle to release a bar you're interested in - and good luck trying to pull another pair of pants BACK over that bar at this point. D) it is difficult to prevent all pants from sliding down the rails, E) a heavily loaded hanger tends to slide down the clothes rail to a greater extent, making it easier for pants to slide down when on separate hangers to be attached. In principle, I see no advantages over conventional hangers, only disadvantages.
