Review on ๐Ÿฉฑ Pampers Splashers Disposable Swim Pants, Size 5 (over 31 lb), Large, Twinpack, 17 Count by Cody Nordlund

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Not all swim diapers are created equal.

Non-absorbent! I bought them one day instead of huggies as usual and didn't expect any difference. When I was getting my daughter ready for the pool, she peed in about 3 minutes after I put her bathing suit on. I thought she spilled the water and walked on it first as she left wet footprints on the floor, but then I realized from her posture and the dripping bathing suit that she got wet through that diaper. I took off the diaper and there was a puddle of urine in it that didn't drain out the sides. I did a side-by-side test (pictured) with blue water, and the Pampers have the liquid right on the padding, while the Huggies actually absorb the liquid. So disappointed as Pampers is usually the best diaper brand. Buy a haggis instead.

Pros
  • Recommended weight: 31+ lbs. Doesn't swell in water like normal nappies and feels comfortable wet and dry
Cons
  • Not as bulky as other nappies
