I took a size up and fits true to size. I can wear it over small t-shirts in cold weather. I'm of average height and the neck and arm openings are perfect for me, although someone with a big neck or small hands might not like that. I'm physically active and tired of punching holes in thinner shirts. The material is a little rough, but after a few washes I feel comfortable. But for those who want luxurious, soft comfort, maybe buy a thinner shirt or wear one over it. My (5) shirts are open and breathable, beautiful and cool.
