Boots are exactly like the pictures, pleasant to the touch, warm and fluffy when you put your hands in them. My big narrow feet almost 3 years old wear a US size 8-81/2 and I bought her a size 9. She put them on and started walking around the house without complaining. The boots are a bit loose but not too bad which I needed for her to be able to wear them in the mountains and snow next winter. I considered getting Sorel or Merkel boots but ended up going for a cheaper boot option and I think these boots were a great purchase. I will update my review once she wears them in the snow a few times.
