Review on 🔒 Enhanced Performance and Protection: Cable Matters Shielded Ethernet Extension by Richard Cartner

I'm a big fan of Cable Matters. Their products are always high quality, reasonably priced, and do what they are supposed to do. These extension cords are no exception. I am deducting a star specifically for the 3 foot cables. They are extremely stiff and require considerable force to bend. A little bend isn't going to break anything, but if one of your goals is to reduce bending stress on your device's connector, you basically need to let the cable go where it wants and attach something flexible to it. Better look elsewhere if this is a problem in your application. Strangely, the 1 inch cables (which I used to buy) don't have the same problem. Cable Matters may be using larger gauge wire and/or switching technologies to create longer cables.
