If you have a heat press then this is a must have! I place the carpet inside the shirt before gluing the vinyl to the shirt. Prevent problems when shirts have pockets and vinyl sticks, better. My only issue is that the carpet is 11.5" square, not 12". I really need a 12 inch square rug. However, the mat is great and I plan to keep using it! I know some people have spoken about the smell but mine arrived new and odorless. I've used this mat for over 200 presses with no problems. After use, I let the mat sit for at least 24 hours before removing it.
