My husband and I are both ordained ministers and I purchased this dress for an outdoor wedding in upstate New York this fall (we live in Wisconsin). The dress couldn't have been more perfect. The weight is perfect, breathable but not transparent. It's a bit long but I only wore 1.5 inch heels and the slit in the front allowed me to walk easily without holding it. It lies beautifully, is easy to move and dance in, and the dark wine color has received so many compliments! Be prepared - it needs to be ironed and protected from static electricity before wearing. I will definitely come back to this brand for other dresses and other occasions and recommend them to friends! I'm 5ft 5in, 38 DDD, 185 lbs, size XL fits perfectly. I might be fine with large, but I felt very comfortable with XL.
