The cover is too scratchy to use on a pillow. Super comfortable!
I bought this body pillow on purpose because it came with an extra cover. Unfortunately, the cover is scratchy, like cheap sheets from the discount store, and unusable. The body pillow is very big and fluffy, it is very comfortable if you position yourself properly. It's like squeezing and you can sink into it with good strength. It's so big that when I roll over from sleeping on my left side to my right side, it's uncomfortable to move from side to side.
