It's very easy to use. It heats up quickly and is easy to adjust. As it got warmer I started combing my hair and noticed a few things. First, it works towards the scalp much more easily since the hair is pushed between the scalp and the brush itself. As I progress to longer sections of hair, it becomes increasingly difficult to protect my hair from the heat of the straightening brush. I've used another under hair brush that slides right in front of the straightening brush and it helps but still isn't a perfect workaround. I will keep researching until I find the best way to do this for me. Then I noticed that the straightening comb straightens well when it is in direct contact with the hair, even if my wavy hair is not as straight as with a straightening iron. However, this works even better on my daughter's less wavy hair, which is also thinner, and I think this may be the only tool I use to straighten her hair. All in all, this is a good hair tool. Collection of tools. It is easy to use in the settings, easy to apply to the hair, does not damage the hair and straightens the hair well according to the hair type. The only downside is figuring out how it works best on longer sections of hair.
