We have an odd living room, so the only place for the TV was the gap between the wall and the fireplace wall. mostly in the corner. It doesn't work with regular TV stands and the mount is cumbersome, especially for our 55-inch screen. It's perfect! The ability to adjust up and down allowed us to keep the screen right under the mantel and center it right in the corner for better TV visuals and the look of the placement.
