Update: The suction cups are no longer holding, so much so that we lost one, were able to secure the other with a folded piece of paper It's like a latch, but now that one missing, that side will fall even if the visor is pulled over it to keep it in place. The suction cups fall off every time we fold down the sun visor while driving because nothing is holding them, they just fit into a hole on the actual sun visor, but they do the job. This will keep the car from overheating. Many people point out the design to their children, who recognize it immediately and say our car is from the movie Cars!
