The plate under the table top detached from the top and got stuck in the mullion (connection of top and bottom), so that the table could not be assembled. I have already put the legs into the lower part and screwed them to the B-pillar. Unfortunately, this lower section does not unscrew from the B-pillar (me and some of my more burly neighbors have tried) to allow the legs to be disassembled. This means I cannot return it as the shipping box is flat. So those parts are sent to a handy construction junkyard across the street, and we learn a lesson: don't buy products you can assemble yourself. Too bad because it was the perfect table.
