Moth Show Summer 2017

This review has been published to present our neat presentation of what started as a swarm of moths and has now grown into a full blown infestation. I call it the Thayer Plaza Moth Show. They literally come out of wooden structures: from the cracks in the counter, from the pantry, from the bathroom and who knows where else? We've spent days watching our moth traps fill up with these little creatures that seem to gnaw through everything, including plastic and cardboard. Luckily, they haven't infiltrated our suits and other clothes in our closets yet. Once a month, they absolutely must be killed immediately. Otherwise, he may lay a dozen more eggs, and what starts out as a small problem can turn into a very big problem. Even if we find a flying moth and try to hit it with a magazine or step on it with our shoes, they seem to come back to life and fly again as if nothing happened. What we learned with these moth traps is that we can keep the trap in a flight pattern and the moths will eventually fly in and get stuck for eternity. They don't seem to care that dozens of their dead friends and family members are already trapped. They seem to be attracted to the smell of glue in the traps. This is my fifth order. After a few dozen months it is better to use a new trap as they are less likely to get stuck in the trap if they can step on their dead friends and jump out the other end. A better design would be a closed end on one side so they can't eject or fly over. Still, five stars for having a chat and finding something positive in this mess.
