These glasses are perfect. I needed glasses with a narrow height so I could see the camera controls through the glasses and then look over the glasses through the camera's eyepiece without removing the glasses. I wear my glasses low on my nose so I can see up. They are more like a close-up portion of a bifocal lens. The aluminum body has a plastic insert to protect the lens. The case is securely attached to the shirt pocket and does not slip. The aluminum body will wrinkle over time, but that's to be expected. The spout can be adjusted, but is "thin". The pad is made of soft plastic and pivots on the tower wire to fit the nose. This is the only design flaw I can see as it looks like it could be lost. The time will show. The rest of the frames are good and solid. The nose pad is, so to speak, glued to the lens barrel itself. So if you don't customize it, it should stay in place.
