Original rating: Works well! Durable and small. USB-C connection that is awesome! Recording and downloading games on it is instantaneous. Huge gamer but don't mind all the tech. I play my game and I can play without making mistakes. I noticed that some programs, e.g. B. Epic games, cause the drive not to disconnect or eject when you need it. So don't put epic games on the drive! The vapor also prevents it from being blown out or blown off. Make sure these programs are completely closed. As a result, the drive runs constantly and it takes some time to turn it off. Update: After a while I'm having problems with the drive. I use USB-C in the same slot on my PC and I've found it to be very demanding if it wants to work. I thought disabling epic games fixed the problem, but now Steam and Windows games do the same thing. I can't always access the drive and get an error code, trying to repair the drive doesn't work or isn't even an option. I've tried registering my drive with WD and they say "cannot find product" and every time support chat service is requested or when using email support "cannot do, try again later". I have found that it takes 20 minutes for the hard drive to work all 5 times. You have to restart your computer several times. I tried to force the HDD to turn off when the system is running but it doesn't work, HDD and SSD recovery doesn't work.
