Straps are 3 inches smaller than description.
FYI. Description 3 inches shorter. But I'll hold on if you're maxed out as my actual waist is 36. I bought the middle one, it only has about 2.5 inches left after the buckle. Too bad I ordered a large one. You can cut off the excess at any time.
