Review on Korkers Redside Boot Kling Outsole - Enhanced Performance for Versatile Terrain by Jeffrey Crutcher

Revainrating 5 out of 5

5 years of bullying and these things keep ticking.

I'll break it down for you guys as follows: Price: 5 stars Style: 4 stars (but who really cares?) Function: 4 stars Durability: 5 stars Moving on: I bought these boots in mid-2014 for fishing in the rivers. and the Atlantic in New Jersey. I take surfing and freshwater fishing seriously. From March to December I go on the water at least 2-3 times a week. I've ridden these boots many miles on sand, rocks, mud, mud, gravel, concrete, tarmac and docks. I walked past the carcasses of numerous fish, deer, muskrats, and other marine life and mammals, through broken glass, bottle caps, abandoned fishing line, fishing tackle, used syringes, and other medical waste strewn across the New Jersey sands. . These boots have protected me all along. They always took me to where I needed to be on time. It's been four years and five brutal fishing seasons and these things are still working. I've seen wading boots cost at most three times what they have in the last two years. Do yourself a favor, save money and ditch the more expensive shoes. BUY THESE BOOTS. These things have stood the test of time on the wretched New Jersey shores and caught on.

Pros
  • Interchangeable soles allow you to quickly and easily adapt your boots to all conditions.
Cons
  • The felt and Kling-On outsole can wear out quickly and may need to be replaced frequently.
