The Ellington MR56ESP4C1 was the perfect choice for my large covered outdoor patio and it was advertised as being for wet outdoor use. Well, they worked for a couple of years, then the blades started to hang and get stuck on the solid parts of the body, and now they don't spin at all. Now only the headlights work and I am now faced with the question of removing them and replacing them with better products when I get around to it. These units have never been exposed to rain or any element other than the Texas humidity. A few years ago I tried several times to contact the supplier but there was no answer. I would not buy an Ellington fan again.
