The original lamp cord that came with my lamp started flickering wildly and the bulb burned out. I contacted the company and they sent me a replacement plug. The same thing happened 5 days later. Flashing light, burned out bulb. I contacted the company again and they were willing to send a third wire but I knew it was a switch defect and it would only happen again so I took a refund for the price paid for the lamp. , and bought these cords with dimmers instead. No more flickering. For at least a month and no problems. I have 5 different Himalayan salt lamps and with these replacements I don't have to worry if the original plug fails. They also came with new bulbs. I am very happy.
