I compared the sound quality of these headphones with Audeze Penrose, and Penrose wins, although it is much cheaper. They have a good sound but $500 isn't good enough, it should be great but it isn't. Touch controls are not ideal for this type of device. Portals have great build quality, but if the sound doesn't justify the price then it's not worth it. I think these headphones would make sense if they cost $250-300, no more.
