When I tried them on I was hesitant at first because they were short and I thought I had no ankle support but in fact they were very tight around my foot that would be a pain because I was new to the strap , but after learning how to adjust it, this has been one of my favorite purchases. It fits perfectly, very comfortable. I would say they feel a bit heavy but overall the shoes are of such good quality. #Difficult conditions
