This bag is heavy but doesn't have the drawstrings it says it comes with, instead has elastic straps at the front bottom and back bottom like the bag I had, which I didn't find it either with me. So I had to use rubber bands for the center grommets and straps to hold the front and back down. In addition, the measurements were wrong by several centimeters. I have a 2004 Honda Rebel that is 84 inches long so I ordered an XL which should have fitted properly. So someone needs to go back to school and learn how to measure things properly so that the people who buy this get the right size they chose. I don't know about the water resistance, it hasn't rained yet.
